The “Men’s Prayer” Time.

The “Men’s Prayer” time is a place where men can experience the unique power and blessing of group prayer. We emphasize praying for the church’s leaders and ministries, our nation, as well individuals. ( 1 Timothy 2:1-2 )

We get together every Tuesday morning at the home of Mark Parish at 8:00 am and finish around 8:30 am (or as long as it takes). Call the church office for the location.

We’ll mentor and teach you how to develop a deeper prayer life in the Lord!  Please understand, this is not a support group or Bible study… just a short time of corporate prayer!

We are about to embark on the ultimate love story, written in blood on a wooden cross erected in Judea some 2000 years ago. We are going to undertake this ultimate adventure involving each of us in this interval, between the Miracle of our Origin and the Mystery of our Destiny. If this series is successful, it should ignite a passion, perhaps even an obsession, that would en-flame a lifetime of adventure, excitement, insight, and satisfaction not available through any other pursuit in this life.

This study or survey is intended to be a broad background, from which we can then undertake intense studies - verse by verse commentaries of each book. I hope that this will illicit a lifetime hobby of the study of the Bible. Come and join us!

Questions:

“I’ve never prayed with other people."

No problem. Most Men haven’t! We’re men, so we say short (to the point) informal prayers.

“I don’t want to be put on the spot.”

We won’t ask you to do or say anything. You can just listen and take it all in.

“Do we have to ‘hold hands’?

Hey, we are men. There is no “touchy-feely” stuff. We don’t do anything uncomfortable like holding hands… that’s for the women’s prayer group!

Take a step of faith and join us!

  Fellowship

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
